In a trading update released ahead of today's AGM, Cranfield-based Trafficmaster has reported that its year-to-date trading is in-line with expectations, along with a ‘major’ contract extension with Volkswagen.
The digital traffic information and intelligent in-vehicle services provider said that the contract extension to supply Volkswagen real time traffic data was accompanied by six new contract wins within the year. It also said its Teletrac product was experiencing strong growth in the US, thanks to a bolstering of its sales team and that the firm continued to work closely with Norwich Union and Ryder in the UK, expecting profits from the association to come within the second half. Trafficmaster's shares have risen almost five per cent, growing 2.75p to 62p. |
