Telephony service provider AT Communications has announced a 12 month £2m contract with PC World Direct, the first of a slew of major new contracts the firm predicted last month.

The Harlow-based firm said that it would advise the DSG division on achieving the optimal sales mix of telecom products, and would supply products, direct branded delivery, marketing and training.

It added that all telecom products would be supported by ATC's inventory management system, supplying PC World Direct with data feed providing instant product pricing and stock information.

In a statement, the firm said that it anticipated that the contract, for an initial 12 month period, was expected to generate revenues in the region of £2m.

“This contract highlights the strength of our sector expertise, products and services, all of which will play key roles as we accelerate the growth of our business,” said Alex Tupman, ATC's CEO.

Shares in ATC have seen growth of over nine per cent, rising 4p to 48p.
