The top rated charities group at law firm Hewitsons in Cambridge has been further strengthened with the arrival of experienced barrister Chris Knight.
He has joined from a leading Birmingham practice which advises some of the UK’s top charities. Hewitsons charity clients include Fauna and Flora International, The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Wood Green Animal Shelters, Addenbrooke’s Chritable Trust, the Papworth Trust and The Royal Society of Chemistry, as well as a number of academic, scientific and research charities. Knight’s appointment is timely as the Charities Act 2006 is just starting to bite and has implications for all UK charities, regardless of size. • Former scientist and cycling champion Iain Hibbert has joined the commercial property team at Hewitsons solicitors in Cambridge. He joins from Bishop’s Stortford law firm Nockolds. |
