Newmarket lab services firm, Celsis has delivered on its promise of strong results for the full year, posting a 20 per cent increase in profits for the period.
The rapid laboratory analysis group said that pre-tax profit had soared from £3.6m to £4.4m for the year to March, on the back of a 43 per cent rise in group revenues to £23.8m from £16.6m a year ago. It said that the addition of IVT to the group had transformed the business by expanding its product and laboratory services offerings with clear cross-selling opportunities. “The enlarged Celsis group is well positioned to continue its track record of strong growth both organically and through further acquisitions,” said CEO, Jay LeCoque. Celsis' shares have seen gains of almost four per cent, rising 8.5p to 246.5p. |
