The retirement of TTP's chairman Keith Humphreys has prompted a major reshuffle in the firm's board, with 20 year veteran CEO, Gerald Avison moving into the position, and co-founder and MD Peter Taylor putting on the CEO's hat.
TTP, which has seen a 20 per cent boost in profits this year, will now be led by Dr Avison, who has played a key role in the firm and the development of Cambridge's high-tech cluster.
Managing director of The Technology Partnership, Peter Taylor, who has led the growth of the scientific half of TTP will move into the role of chief executive.
Philip Blenkinsop of TTP Lab Tech, TTP director, Chas Sims, and TTP Venture Managers CEO Gerry Fitzsimons have also been appointed to the board.
“I am grateful to Keith for his support and guidance over the last nine years and I am pleased to be handing over the role of CEO to a very experienced and safe pair of hands,” said new chairman, Dr Avison.
