Digital radio specialist, Cambridge-based Sepura, is to assist South Korea's Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency serve and protect a population in excess of 10 million citizens through the provision of 5,000 (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) TETRA radio terminals. This contract win was achieved in conjunction with Promocom Corporation, Sepura's long standing partner in Korea. It follows the lead of other major cities and emergency services in the country that already use the Sepura products. Promocom Corporation secured the order to provide radios, supporting equipment, software and training. Promocom will supply Sepura SRH3800 sGPS™ handheld radios, and SRM3500 sGPS™ and SRG3500 in-vehicle radios. |
