Cambridge company strikes deal with Cisco Systems
Friday, 02 November 2007
Internet software provider, Cambridge-based ANT, is to supply the $34 billion Cisco Systems corporation with its core television service applications for Cisco’s IPTV solutions. Following a deal with Cisco subsidiary, Scientific Atlanta, ANT will provide its reference television service, extending its agreement beyond the previous licensing of the ANT Galio Client and ANT Galio Browser to Scientific Atlanta.

ANT described the announcement as a “significant development” in its partnership with Scientific and in the acceptance by the IPTV industry of its new ANT Galio product range. ANT is now the reference supplier of a comprehensive range of highly customisable television applications which Cisco and Scientific Atlanta will supply to their IPTV customers worldwide.
