Cambridge-based Domino Printing Sciences has agreed terms for the £2.8m acquisition of Control Information Technology GmbH, a German business that develops and sells production line control software used by manufacturers in pharmaceutical and other industries. Based in Koblenz, Control software provides manufacturers with the ability to manage and monitor production line performance and product traceability. The sellers, Ralf-Gunter Wein and Harald Herres, will remain as employees in the business along with all other existing staff, and will join Domino’s integrated solutions group.
