Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd, an Acteon company, is expanding its activities in
Asia Pacific; a Singapore office
has already been established
and an operations base will follow shortly.
This will improve service for customers in the region, who will gain from rapid access to Aquatic's range of specialist flexible handling equipment and back-of-boat solutions. "The Asia Pacific subsea oil and gas business is experiencing significant growth, particularly offshore Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and China," says Chris Brooks, president of Aquatic. "The new base in Singapore will be well-placed to meet the increasing demand for our services. "The decision to expand into Asia has the backing of our customers and partners in the region, and they will benefit from our ability to mobilise their projects far more rapidly than in the past." Aquatic continues to develop a strong global reputation for its ability to lay flexible and semi-rigid product on the seabed and has more than 25 years' experience of off and onshore installations. Acteon is a group of specialist engineering companies serving the global offshore oil and gas industry. It focuses on technology that has applications in the vital region between the seabed and the surface production facilities. |
