Micron Research takes lease on Chatteris office

Office space in a former chapel in Chatteris has been leased by Carter Jonas to Micron Research Ltd. The company is part of The Micron Group – an international drug development organisation providing consultancy, clinical research, medical communications and data management services to the healthcare industry. The new office is one of the group’s two UK locations. Micron Research has taken a six-year lease on approximately 4,000 sq ft of premium office space at the Zion Building in Park Street. Previously, the company had its regional base at the old tax office building in Ely. In looking for new premises, wanted to retain a Fenland location, which was popular with its staff, but also wanted to have an attractive and modern working environment for employees and visitors alike. With Chatteris approximately midway between Cambridge and Peterborough and the Zion Building offering modern office accommodation and parking at an affordable rent, Micron decided to make the move. Carter Jonas acted on behalf of the landlord, Tsien, whose partners own the Zion Building from where they also operate a software and electronics engineering company.
