Autonomy has established itself as an early pace setter in the IT sector in 2008, announcing another two major contract wins to add to the bumper crop it has already unveiled so far this year. The company's shares are up 6.5 per cent to 964p on the day following the announcement of two OEM agreements - one with the world's largest enterprise software company, Oracle and the other with 'information infrastructure' provider, EMC Corporation. The newsflow adds momentum to an already strong start to the year for the digital information management company, with six deals already rattled off in the first few days of 2008. The infrastructure software firm has announced tie-ups with Blue Chip names such as Lloyds TSB, Adobe, Bayer and an unnamed global bank - a deal with a potential value of $70m over the next few years.
