 Along with institutions in Hungary, France and Germany, SEB is a partner in the ‘Virtual campus for SMEs in a multicultural milieu’ project, which will develop 17 subjects in the field of SME management, with a view to creating four equivalent Masters level diplomas for SME managers in each country.

Funded by the Education and Culture Lifelong Learning/ERASMUS Programme of the European Commission, the project is an essential step towards the establishment of a virtual European SME campus offering online courses and the exchange of participants from all partner countries.

The project which is led by Budapest Business School, Hungary, and has a total value of €399,943 (£300,000).

SEB has also won more than £86,000 from the European Social Fund for Creative Women Entrepreneurship, a project concerned with the development of critical entrepreneurial skills of women in the Creative Industries in Southend, which aims to provide an ‘action-learning’, postgraduate level training programme, the successful completion of which could lead to a postgraduate level qualification.
