| Silverjet to benefit from new board member |

All business class carrier, Silverjet has announced its appointment of a former easyJet board member to the post of non-executive director.
The Luton-based airline said that it had taken on Mr Amir Eilon, who undertook a key role at easyJet during its expansion, overseeing the acquisition of Go and the securing of an option to acquire Deutsche BA. Eilon will join the company along with his post of non-executive director oof cargo carrier, MK Airlines. "We are delighted to welcome Amir to the Board of Silverjet.," said CEO, Lawrence Hunt. "He has a wealth of experience in the aviation and in particular low cost airline sector, and his experience of low cost airlines will be very valuable to us." Shares in the firm have seen a healthy five per cent boost, bucking the downward trend currently being experienced market-wide and growing 2p to 39.5p.
