Building-systems manufacturer and autocad designer, Eleco has said that reduced activity in the UK and Ireland housing market has not hurt the company's performance, and that it expects to report significantly higher revenues and profits for the first half.
The Herts-based company said that despite weaker demand for its connector plate products because of the widely reported reduction in housing activity in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, turnover and profit before tax of the firm for the six months to December will be significantly higher than for the same period last year.
