Berry will leave the firm, effective March 31
Inkjet printing specialist, Xaar has announced the resignation of its FD of six years, Nigel Berry, naming his deputy as successor.

The Cambridge-based firm said that Berry, who also holds the position of deputy chief executive will be leaving the firm on March 31, with his current deputy, Andrew Taylor taking on the finance director role.

Taylor, who also serves as company secretary, has been with Xaar since 2001. No reasons were given for Berry's departure.

"I wish Nigel well for the future and thank him for his significant contribution to the company  during his time with us," said chairman, Phil Lawler. "I am pleased to welcome Andrew to the Board and congratulate him on his appointment."

The company's shares remain unchanged at 145p.
