Rapid laboratory analysis group, Celsis has continued a succession of strong results, with excellent trading keeping its performance on track during the third quarter.
The Newmarket-based world leader in the provision of diagnostic systems for the rapid detection of microbial contamination said that it had seen excellent performances from its Rapid Detection and In Vitro Technologies divisions, with the positive trend expected to continue 'for the remainder of the financial year.'
It said that its Analytical Services division has seen good progress from three of its four business areas in this quarter, although there has been continued consolidation of the Celsis New Jersey chemistry business.
The company added that it is well positioned to grow organically, and continues to review new acquisition opportunities.
"Overall, the company looks forward to a positive year end performance, with revenue and profit growth in line with the board's expectations," said CEO, Jay LeCoque.
Shares in the firm have grown by almost three per cent, or 5p to 175p.
