A £200 million war chest has been created to help fund the growth of Peterborough. The fund has been earmarked to finance building projects and corporate expansions in the city and its environs.

Clydesdale Bank has set aside the funding to pave the way for more investment and regeneration projects.

A Clydesdale Bank spokes-man said Peterborough’s active business community could only be boosted by the new regeneration drive.

He added: “We will play a central part in helping to make the city even better than it already is by helping more local businesses to grow and to attract more companies to the city by providing funding to projects that bring real value to the area.”
