Norfolk PR Agency Goes through to Grand Prix Final

Kate Abbot, director of Jungle Public RelationsJungle Public Relations Ltd, Norfolk’s only public relations agency to win a Gold CIPR* PRide Award 2007, will be representing the county and going through to the 2008 President’s Grand Prix Awards final in Birmingham on March 6th 2008.
 
Jungle Public Relations Ltd won the prestigious Gold Award for ‘Best Use of Media Relations’ for its client BeWILDerwood - the tree house adventure park in Wroxham, which the company launched last year, attracting over 6,000 visitors across the UK on its first weekend of opening.
 
Kate Abbot, director of Jungle Public Relations Ltd said: “Winning the Gold Award for Best Use of Media Relations is a fantastic accolade for us and it has given us huge kudos in being the best in the travel and tourism sector of public relations. We have been asked to pitch for several national travel and tourism companies based in the UK and even America which is an excellent testament to the campaign we carried out for our client.   We will be competing against thirteen other Gold finalists within the ‘Best Media Relations’ category so if we do win, it will again be a fantastic accolade."

Information about the CIPR President’s Grand Prix Awards
The CIPR PRide Awards 2007 – the only PR awards scheme in the UK for the nations and regions - are now at a close.
 
  • A record breaking 1456 entries were received across the 11 participating nations and regions.
  • All of the gold award winners from each of the regional and national 2007 CIPR PRide Awards will now      compete head-to-head at a national level to see who will take the crown in 21 of the PRide categories.
  • On Thursday 6 March 2008 the cream of the public relations and communications industry will gather at the Town Hall, Victoria Square, Birmingham, to celebrate the Annual CIPR President’s Grand Prix Awards.
