Thrive Homes, the community
enterprise that took over Hertfordshire's Three Rivers District Council's homes in March
this year, is planning to spend
more than £41 million over the
next five years to transform
the former council estates.
"We have ambitious plans to transform our homes and neighbourhoods," said chief executive of Thrive Homes, Patrick Odling-Smee. "Over the next five years we will install 2,000 new kitchens, 1,500 new bathrooms and 1,600 new secure doors, fit energy efficient boilers and radiators, spend more than £2m on fences and gates and improve lighting and security across our estates."
