United Drug acquires two companies in the region

United Drug has expanded its contract sales and marketing services division through the bolt-on acquisitions of St Albans’ Business Edge Solutions & Training and Slough-based Universal Conference & Incentive Travel for up to £14.15 million. The Dublin-based healthcare supplier says the acquisition, of which £2.75m is payable on achievement of certain targets, will further broaden the service offering of this growing division. All 150 employees at the two firms, including senior management, will stay with the businesses.
