East of England Business Awards - 2009 entrants

Peterborough companies are queuing up to enter the Awards: The latest is ParentMail, which has entered the Private Company of the Year category.

ParentMail has increased its turnover by 250 per cent over the past year and is on track to do the same this year. It provides web-based electronic school-to-home communications services to 2,500 UK schools and typically 200 more are joining every month. Almost 1.5 million parents receive email and text messages from their school via its system.

ParentMail helps schools to save time, money and improve parental engagement through more reliable communications. It also helps them to manage and reduce absence.

Staff numbers have grown to 35 and another five people are about to be added to the workforce.
