Cambridge Healthcare to set up in Asia

Bo Zhou

Cambridge Healthcare Ltd has started recruiting in China where it has also instituted a major push for funding. It is also setting up an Asian operation.

The importance of the Chinese market – in the throes of massive health reforms – has prompted the drive by the UK company.

CHL recently launched the portal www.howareyou.com to help the NHS improve standards of patient care.

Now CHL has appointed a talented young manager to represent the company and find the best way to achieve market penetration in the world’s No 2 economy.

Bo Zhou, a native of Beijing, will be working with CHL in China and Cambridge Healthcare Asia is the next startup goal.

Bo has just graduated as Master (MSc) in Management Analytics at the Michael Smurfit School of Business – University College Dublin. He already has the Smurfit UCD Master in Business degree and from the China Agricultural University.

CHL says he is not only extremely well qualified and informed technically but has strong commercial inclinations. His father is a senior executive in Development Bank of China and strongly supports his attachment to www.howareyou.com

Cambridge Healthcare founder and CEO Dawson King has been in Beijing and has been meeting investors and healthcare leaders. He also spent substantial time at Microsoft Research China – whose head office is in Beijing.

He has gone on to San Francisco and meetings in Silicon Valley before flying to Seattle where he is to meet the key figures at Microsoft Health Vault. An announcement of a signed contract between Microsoft and Cambridge Healthcare Ltd involving www.howareyou.com is expected soon.

Cambridge Healthcare Ltd is in advanced discussion stages with investors in Asia and the USA as well as UK seeking the financial resources necessary to secure the next stages of product development and growth.
