Cambridge clean technology business Green Energy Options is closing in on its vision to raise £20k by April 14 to fund a key development phase of a new smart, low energy heater for the home.
With the clock ticking on a self imposed deadline, geo had this morning raised £15,041 from 116 backers.
The UK company needs the cash to develop innovative features on a smart heating controller. It is the first direct-to-consumer product that geo has ever launched on Kickstarter after eight years dealing with utilities and partners.
Geo says its ‘Cosy’ smart heating system demonstrates how smart thermostat technology is moving on. Billed as a ‘wireless multi-user home solution’ Cosy does way more than it says on the tin, according to CEO Patrick Caiger-Smith.
