Oil & Gas UK publishes new guidelines on Mooring Integrity to promote safer mooring of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSOs). The new guidelines address the causes of the failures identified through the joint industry project and illustrate how existing practices in design, installation and monitoring can be made more robust.

New: Oil & Gas UK Workforce Demographic Report 2007
Oil & Gas UK’s second demographic report continues to provide a much more optimistic picture for the industry demographics than the commonly held perception. The report confirms that the average offshore worker is 41 years old, which shows no change from the previous year and is the expected average age for any workforce aged between 20 and 60 years.
