Kimbells is a purely commercial firm, acting for clients across the UK.
After 20 years the firm is still faithful to its original aim of
achieving organic growth in a single location. This is important to
ensure we maintain our culture of getting to know our clients and their
businesses and retaining them through superb client care. Recent growth
reflects the firm''s success in meeting clients'' needs. In particular
we have responded by providing specific expertise through recruitment
of specialists in areas such as property disputes, intellectual
property and construction law.
A modern practice
Kimbells
converted to limited liability partnership status in 2003 and was one
of the first legal firms to take this step. The firm was driven by the
desire to become more corporate in style, to mirror clients''
organisational structures, as well as providing greater operational
efficiencies.
Modernising the way the firm was managed tied in
with introducing new business practices to improve efficiency. This
included recruitment of a non-lawyer Chief Executive to run the
business, development of staff through Investors in People and ISO
(9001/2000) accreditation ISO to ensure consistently high service
quality.
We constantly review processes, utilising, for example, developments in technology wherever this will add advantage.
