Local PR agency short listed for regional awards
Stratton PR has been short listed for two prestigious CIPR East Anglia PRide awards, in recognition of the work it carried out to produce a ‘careers in construction’ brochure.
It managed the project and the photography; writing all the copy which included identifying and interviewing the eleven individuals that were selected as case studies.
The 16-page brochure, which was designed by Catapult and commissioned by Haven Gateway Partnership as part of its Construction Initiatives Programme, was sent out to all year 10 students in Suffolk and supported by Connexions, Suffolk New College and Colchester Borough Council.
Sue Wilcock, Director of Stratton PR commented: “The Haven Gateway Partnership wanted to demonstrate to young people the range of opportunities available, that the industry is not all about blokes, bums and bricks, but can be a positive career choice. ”
The brochure has been short listed under the categories of ‘Best Publication’ and ‘Best Use of Photography or Design’ and the winners will be announced at the CIPR East Anglia PRide Awards dinner on Wednesday 3rd December 2008.
