This company has successfully created parthenogenic stem cells which makes them the only company to successfully sidestep the moral issue of the "right-to-life" critics of embryonic stem cells. They also will be providing corneal epithelial cells, derived from its Parthenogenetic stem cells and human keratinocytes (a type of skin cell), for use in Federal Drug Administration (FDA) clinical trials aimed at creating a tissue transplant technology to improve photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). This and other advancements and research can be found at their web site: www.internationalstemcell.com
The company has only been publicly traded for about a year and a half and is (remarkably) trading at less than it's initial investment price. The company is definitely worth some study. - Terry Bock
