This region's longest-running and most respected Business Awards are back with a new category and two new judges.
Glittering crystal obelisks and a massive amount of global kudos await the winners of Business Weekly's East of England Business Awards 2008.
The categories are: Killer Technologies; Private Company of the Year; Quoted Company of the Year and International Trade. A Business of the Year will be chosen from the shortlisted companies across all categories.

For any technology - including biotechnology - deemed truly disruptive
and likely to have a future impact on the way we live or work.
- PRIVATE COMPANY OF THE YEAR
For the private business which, in the judges’ opinion, has made most commercial progress in the past 12 months.
- QUOTED COMPANY OF THE YEAR
For the public business which, in the judges’ opinion, has made most commercial progress in the past 12 months.
For companies that have launched or expanded their international
operations in the past 12 months or significantly broadened their
access to global markets with new products or services.

From all these categories, the judges will choose a Business of the
Year. The Business of the Year then joins winners from the previous
competitions in the Champion of Champions head-to-head.
