Toby Churchill Ltd is opening a US office in Denver, Colorado on July 1.
The Cambridge UK company, which provides hi-tech communication aids, has started a US recruitment drive.For almost 40 years the company has provided AAC (augmentive and alternative communication) solutions such as the Lightwriter® communication aid to people who live with little or no ability to communicate verbally.
James Rowe, the company’s managing director, said: “This is an exciting new chapter for Toby Churchill Ltd. We look forward to begin learning from and supporting our US customers directly and are thrilled at the opportunity to build a supportive team in the US.”
The US sales division will be a branch of the UK company and will include sales and marketing, customer and technical support, servicing, repairs and funding to serve US customers. Toby Churchill Lightwriters are currently available in the US through TobiiATI.
Over the coming weeks TCL will be recruiting “several Denver based office support staff and national field based positions,” the company reports.
It is looking for office staff, including an office manager, a US sales manager, field based positions, product specialists, a sales & marketing co-ordinator, technical support staff and a service technician.
