HLB International, the international accountancy network, has signed a fourth member firm to its new UK federation. Joining the network, is Lovewell Blake LLP Chartered Accountants one of the leading independent firms of accountants in East Anglia.

Lovewell Blake, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2008, has five offices serving Norfolk and Suffolk.

Managing partner Douglas Young said: “Lovewell Blake is a long established practice with a full range of service and sector specialisms, including, oil and gas industry, which have been of particular interest from an international perspective.

“A strong reason for joining HLB International is to open up opportunities, and to expand and share our knowledge on the international stage.

“We have already used the HLB network for outward referral work and are looking to continue to develop our relationships within the network for the benefit of our existing and prospective clients. We have had international connections through associations and alliances since 1988 and consider these to be essential to our clients.

“Alongside the international aspects of our new membership, we are keen to join a strong network of UK firms with active sharing of knowledge through working parties and specialist groups.

“This is seen as one of the key benefits of linking up with like-minded firms within HLB UK. Firms that can contribute as much as they give are critical to the success of the structure being created.”

Formed in 1969, HLBI ranks in the top 12 international accounting networks, servicing clients through its member firms in over 100 countries.
