Essex-based milkshake maker Shaken Udder is all set to give its music-mad customers a treat with its latest on-bottle promotion – free downloads from eMusic!
The young company is banking on the milk and moo-sic combination proving a commercial winner in UK supermarkets and other retail outlets. As part of its on-going commitment to the music scene, Shaken Udder – which launched at festivals back in 2004 – has teamed up with music download website eMusic to offer its customers 35 free downloads when they buy a bottle of Shaken Udder milkshake.
The promotion, which will run from December until February is a new venture for the small firm which only launched its premium milkshakes into Sainsbury's and Tesco stores during the summer.
Founder, Jodie Farran, is hoping it will appeal to its toe-tapping consumers. “It's great to be able to run a promotion that ties in so well with our greatest loves: milkshake and music!” she explains.
“We know we have a really loyal following of music fans so I'm hoping the free downloads will entice them to buy even more bottles of Shaken Udder during the winter months.”
Promotional packs, which also feature new branding that shows the trademark Funky Cow listening to music through headphones, will be available in-store from early December.
Shaken Udder milkshakes are now available from Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ocado, regional Co-op stores and Selfridges.
