The family and matrimonial department at Peterborough law firm Buckles has been joined by experienced lawyer Sara Collins.
Her appointment makes the department one of the largest in Peterborough with over 100 years of combined experience in the legal sector.Having qualified in 1995, Collins has experience of family and child law. Together the team has an in-depth experience of dealing with divorce, the breakdown of family relationships, co-habitation and civil partnerships, whether or not children are involved.
Collins joins the head of the Family Department Lyn Brisley, an experienced collaborative family lawyer and the only qualified family mediator in Peterborough; Donna Sandall, a well-respected family solicitor who recently transferred from the Stamford office to Peterborough; Beverley Harrison, based in the Stamford office, who qualified in June 2009 and last year became a Chartered Legal Executive; Julie Isaac, a qualified Chartered Legal Executive since 2010 who advises on a variety of family work; and Joanna Cotgrove who qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has an aptitude and flair for advocacy.
Collins describes herself as a creative artistic animal lover and has walked on hot coals for charity! More recently she has been working in the education sector where she has been able to work closely with children and their families.
