Pursuit Dynamics in Huntingdon – trading as PDX – has won a contract to supply a PDX fully-integrated food system to one of Europe's leading food producers.
The producer, which is not being named but manufactures some of the UK's best-known food brands, is a returning customer, PDX said.
PDX said that the contract was worth approximately £400,000, with the revenue being recognised in stage payments over the next three months.
Market sentiment for the company – runner-up in Business Weekly’s Quoted Company of the Year – is soaring. The share price following the news was up 13p (almost seven per cent) to 208p.
PDX said the contract demonstrated the growing strength of PDX's offering in the food and beverage sector and its ability to deliver process and energy efficiencies to large-scale producers.
CEO Roel Pieper (pictured) said: “This contract demonstrates the value of PDX technology to the food and beverages market and the success that Heinz-Juergen Kroner (General Manager, Brewing and Food) and his team are having in establishing PDX's offering in this sector.”
The UK company has also gained impressive traction in the US biofuels market.
