As the owner of six cars, including two Porsches, inaugural Executive Road Test reviewer, John Heathcote charged us with getting hold of an "interesting" car for him to put through its paces. After much head scratching on our part and a subsequent exchange of emails, this rather nebulous brief was whittled down to a more workable shortlist, headed by the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
At a smidgen under £118k, the Flying Spur is Bentley's entry level model. But as John found out, Bentley's take on the concept of economy motoring is subject to a whopping dose of context.
