Legal hotshots star for the Gunners
The talent agency division of Norwich law firm Leathes Prior played a key role in the transfer of non-league player Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town to Premier League Arsenal. The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club, six tiers below Arsenal, sold Bramall for an undisclosed fee.
Leathes Prior’s Sports Team (Full Contact) identified the 20-year old’s talents when he was playing in amateur football. Bramall penned a two and a half year deal at the Emirates in a one of soccer’s biggest rags to riches stories.
Bramall joined Hednesford Town in the summer of 2016 shortly before being talent spotted by Full Contact; he had previously only played at various amateur clubs.
Dan Chapman, head of the Sports Team, said: “This is a great moment for the talent agency division of our business. We have had such success with moving players from non-league to the professional game over the last five years or so, but to secure a transfer for Cohen to a Premier League giant like Arsenal is just a magical achievement for all concerned.”
