The role of concrete in sustainable structures is underestimated
according to David Ball, who has been appointed Chairman of the
Concrete Bridge Development Group (CBDG). He argues that Britain is
missing the opportunity to build iconic landmark structures because of
outdated views of concrete.

A £1m initiative to encourage young people from black and ethnic
minorities to become architects has been launched by Cambridge-based
architects RMJM, as part of an exclusive partnership with the Stephen
Lawrence Charitable Trust.

New York City, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design will
announce today the launch of a $2 million program aimed at tackling a
global shortage of architects.

ever for the county, has transformed the waterfront in Ipswich. It was
designed by RMJM, in conjunction with Faber Maunsell and Turner
Townsend.
