The Rotortech site at Bourn Airfield to the west of Cambridge has been sold to materials specialist, the David Ball Group. This comes at a very exciting time of expansion for the group and will be a huge asset to its new product development and future plans.

Phillip Ridoutt of Savills said: “This particular sale attracted a lot of interest resulting in a highly competitive position with six rival bids. This bucked the general trend, no doubt due to the fact that on offer was a detached building with external space, close to the city. It just shows that when the product is right there is an appetite for freehold opportunities in the Cambridge area.”
