Savills strengthens Cambridge residential team

Ed Meyer

Savills has appointed Ed Meyer to its Cambridge team as head of residential.

He joins James Barnett, Stewart Chipchase and the wider new homes and lettings teams to focus on strengthening the Savills offering within the city.

Meyer has been with Savills for two years as head of residential for the company’s Bishop’s Stortford office.

Prior to this he spent six years with Foxtons in London operating in Knightsbridge, Chelsea, and later in North London helping to grow the new homes business.

Mark Oliver, head of residential for Savills in the East, said: “We are pleased to welcome Ed to Cambridge to help fortify our city market reputation and enhance the existing strengths of James Barnett and the team in the country market.

“2011 was an exceptional year for the Cambridge team with many international buyers now considering Cambridge as the city of choice and we want to build on this success even further.

“Experience is vital in any market and with Ed’s understanding of the global attractions of the London market; coupled with James’ 25 years experience in the area, we are confident he will guide the department to further success.”
