A Spanish university has developed a new EDG2 inhibitor compound for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis patients, specifically non-responder patients to conventional anti-inflammatory treatments. EDG2 blockage is useful to ameliorate clinical evolution of arthritis in presence of inflammatory activity. The university is looking for pharmaceutical companies interested in signing a license agreement.
