Domino takes Quoted Company of the Year title

Domino has been crowned Quoted Company of the Year at Business Weekly’s 21st Anniversary East of England Business Awards at Queens’ College, Cambridge.

Domino finance director, Andrew Herbert received the award from Stuart Newman of Awards sponsor, PwC.

Listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1984, Domino reported sales for the year to October 31, 2010 of £300 million, a record growth of 17 per cent over the previous year and the group’s 32nd year of consecutive growth.

Domino entered the FTSE 250 index in June 2008 and was admitted last year to the FTSE4Good Index Series, which measures the performance of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards.

Through a global network of 25 subsidiary offices and in excess of 200 distributors, Domino Printing Sciences plc sells to over 120 countries offering extensive customer support. In 2009, Domino Printing Sciences plc achieved a turnover of £256.1m million.

The Group employs 2,070 people worldwide with manufacturing facilities situated in UK, China, Germany, India, Sweden and USA.
