James Parton – The Bradfield Centre
James is managing director of The Bradfield Centre, Cambridge, a collaborative entrepreneurial community of technology startups and scale-ups housed in a stunning building at the heart of the Cambridge Science Park.
James has spent over 20 years working at the intersection of telecommunications and the web which included launching and running three developer programs for O2, Telefonica and Twilio.
At Twilio James was their first hire outside of the US, building the EMEA business from scratch to IPO, running it for its first five years. After leaving Twilio, James founded Land and Expand, a developer marketing agency.
An active contributor to the wider tech community, James blogs for London & Partners, mentors and advises various startups, and has sat on two not for profit trade organisation boards – The Application Developers Alliance, and MEF.
