NVIDIA recently announced its acquisition of Arm and its intention to develop a new global centre of excellence in AI research in Cambridge. Join Cambridge Network for a special online event on Thursday 28 January, when NVIDIA’s David Hogan will discuss the company’s plans for Cambridge.
Cambridge Network welcomes NVIDIA as a new member and is grateful to David Hogan for giving this talk and Q&A session. David leads NVIDIA’s Enterprise sales organisation which supports major customers adopting AI. The team covers many market verticals from Automotive to Financial Services to Oil & Gas to Healthcare. David also supports National Governments in developing their strategies for AI from technology to skills.
As a part of the acquisition deal, NVIDIA will build on Arm’s R&D presence in the UK, establishing the Centre at Arm’s Cambridge campus. The plans for an Arm-powered AI supercomputer, training facilities for developers and a startup incubator have the potential to attract world-class research talent and create a platform for innovation and industry partnerships in fields such as healthcare, robotics and self-driving cars.
The event is free to all Cambridge Network members (£50+VAT for non-members).
