CRFS boosts US coast to coast capability
Cambridge UK wireless technology business CRFS, which supplies wideband RF spectrum monitoring and surveillance systems, has opened operations on America’s East Coast to supplement its California presence.
The company has recruited former US Marine Corps member Roy Keeler as vice- president of sales for North America.
Keeler has extensive sales and business development experience in the aerospace, defence and security sectors and an outstanding track record of B2B and federal sales and of building and leading successful teams.
He served in the US Marines before building a career in industry with senior roles at a number of companies including, most recently, General Electric and FLIR Systems. He will be located in Virginia.
Alistair Massarella, CEO at CRFS said: “Roy’s experience and network are second to none in the sectors we are targeting in North America.
“Since we opened our California office in 2012, CRFS has made huge progress in the US, winning significant DoD contracts and building some great partnerships.
“Roy brings exactly the profile we need to help take CRFS to the next level both in federal sales and developing our OEM and integrator business. CRFS has probably the most exciting and innovative product range of any company today in spectrum monitoring, in-place monitoring and SIGINT.
“Right now, our challenge is to get in front of the right customers and show what we can do. Roy is the guy to help us achieve that.”
CRFS supplies a range of products and integrated end-user solutions under its RFeye® brand. The RFeye Nexus wideband receiver is the latest addition. It provides up to 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth from 100 kHz to 18 GHz with outstanding RF performance and a class-leading sweep speed of 150 GHzs.
