Thailand and India deals worth £4.9m, says CyanConnode
CyanConnode which deals in Narrowband Radio Frequency Smart Mesh Networks from its Cambridge base, reports that it has won new orders in India and Thailand.
The India order, worth £3.3 million, means CyanConnode will supply Advanced Metering Infrastructure standards-based hardware, services, and head-end software, which includes a perpetual licence and an annual maintenance contract.
Cyan also announces a first order in Thailand for 33,000 units from its distributor and technology partner, The JST Group. The end customer is Metropolitan Electricity Authority, a Thai state enterprise under the Ministry of Interior.
As part of the contract, CyanConnode will receive an upfront payment at the time of order of around $0.4m, which is about a quarter of the contract value.
