East of England Business Awards-New Entry-Reef One

Injecting some positive chi into the awards this year is Norwich-based aquatic environment designer and manufacturer, Reef One, that has entered the International Trade and Private Company of the Year categories.

The firm is the creator of the BiOrb fish tank, which has won acclaim from a group of people ranging from the designers of the Big Brother house, where one of its tanks was used on series two and three, to TV Feng Shui guru, Paul Darby.

The company is the brainchild of Matt Stevenson, whose fascination with fish and their environments began at an early age.

The business designs and manufactures innovative products for the aquatics market.

Its specialist filtration capabilities have been applied to the development of long-life, eco-friendly filters.

Related products in the Reef One development programme include specialist fish tanks, water temperature controllers and lighting.
