Entrepreneurship and innovation in the Arts and Creative sector

Art as a Business and Business as an Art!

Cambridge Judge Business School is staging an intellectually stimulating series of online events in the coming weeks as its new Enterprise Tuesday programme rolls out, starting November 3.

The Lent series focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation in the Arts and Creative sector – and it is a broad canvas. All events run from 6.30pm until 8pm.

The first Enterprise Tuesday on November 3 is under the banner of Art as a Business and Business as an Art!

Guest panellists are Anthony Rose, founder and CEO of SeedLegals (the world's first legal automation platform for startup funding); Anthony Alderson – director of The Pleasance Theatre Trust – Pawlet Brookes, CEO and artistic director of diversity arts organisation Serendipity; and creative coach Sarah Sansom. The panellists will share industry insight on their creative journey to success.

You have to book your tickets for all the events in the Lent series: https://www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/entrepreneurship/programmes/enterprise-tuesday/timetable/

Standard tickets are £5 per online session. If you wish to attend the entire Enterprise Tuesday programme which covers November 2020 and February and May 2021 and attend two exclusive sessions next year you can book in advance for the full programme at a discounted rate of £60.

Art, Technology and the Creative Industries

Art, Technology and the Creative Industries is the subject for the November 10 Enterprise Tuesday. Guest panellists are David Helgason, founder of Unity and partner at Nordic Makers; Clare Green - a creative manager and women in games ambassador; plus Sebastien Deguy, founder of Allegorithmic, now VP 3D and Immersive at Adobe.

Building a Creative Business

Building a Creative Business is the topic for the November 17 session. Guest panellists are Ajay Chowdhury, managing director & partner of BCG Digital Ventures; Cherry Freeman, who is founder and partner of Hiro Capital; and Jonas Almgren, CEO of ArtFacts.

The November 24 event, entitled What’s Your Story? features guest panellists Carolyn Dailey, founder of Creative Entrepreneurs and Colin Burrows, founder of Special Treats Production.

The Enterprise Tuesday Lent programme is a special treat for any budding entrepreneur and early bookings are advised.
