Pursuit Dynamics sells two of its newly developed PDX heaters

Huntingdon-based Pursuit Dynamics has announced that brewer Shepherd Neame has ordered two of its PDX heaters, capable of shaving 50 per cent from energy costs during the brewing process, and said that it has officially launched the high performance heating system at the European brewing convention in Venice.

The first of the two PDX Wort Heaters, developed by Pursuit in association with North American brewing giant, Molson Coors, are to be installed at Shepherd Neame's Faversham site in July. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

“The PDX Wort Heater is a highly efficient energy solution for the brewing industry; it delivers substantial energy savings of up to 50% at point of use and provides impressive results during the intensive wort boiling process without compromising on quality or flavour,” according to Pursuit Dynamics CEO, John Heathcote.
