Cambridge’ cofinitive joins global marketing elite
Cambridge marketing consultancy cofinitive has been shortlisted among the world’s elite communications agencies in the upcoming CIPR Excellence 2020 Awards.
The agency, which specialises in branding, strategy, marketing communication & engagement, has been shortlisted in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category in recognition of the consistently high level of service it is said to provide and achieve for clients across all industries and sectors, locally, nationally and internationally.
The CIPR Excellence Awards – hosted by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations – are the PR industry’s leading awards, recognising and rewarding the phenomenal work of PR agencies, teams and individuals internationally.
Founder and inspiration Faye Holland said: “We are immensely proud to be the only PR & Marketing company from East Anglia to be included in the shortlists – and, even more so, to be considered alongside major global firms such as Ogilvy, Ketchum, Weber Shandwick and Edelman.”
In reaching their shortlist of just eight agencies in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category, the judging panel, made up of a team of 60 experienced PR doyens, additionally considered cofinitive’s pay-it-forward ethos and contributions to the Cambridge eco-system – including its annual #21toWatch campaign which it uses to celebrate and promote the outstanding individuals, companies and innovations from the region.
cofinitive recently featured as the fastest riser two consecutive years running in Business Weekly’s New Year’s Honours Image Makers list – up from 8th position in 2018 to 5th position in 2019 to 2nd position at the start of this year.
Holland and cofinitive are each shortlisted in Business Weekly’s 30th Anniversary Business Awards.
Holland said: “I am hugely proud and absolutely overwhelmed to see cofinitive and the work we are doing recognised on an international stage alongside huge global stalwarts and by our industry’s own chartered body. This is both a massive achievement and honour for us.
“All too often there is a misconception that, if an agency is located within our capital city, it must mean they can do a better or more efficient job. But this isn’t always the case as this nomination so clearly shows.
“We succeed at cofinitive because we know what we’re doing and care about what we do. And we are eternally proud to be at the epicentre of the world-leading, thriving business community here in Cambridge.”
The CIPR Excellence 2020 Awards were due to be held at a ceremony in London this summer but, in light of the current coronavirus situation, will be announced exclusively on Twitter on Tuesday June 2.
