Investors in People turns to Somersault again

Somersault has been re-appointed as the video communications agency to Investors in People after a successful competitive tender process.

The 12-month contract will see Somersault support a range of video content and strategy activities.

This is the second successive appointment of Somersault by Investors in People. The previous appointment saw the agency formulating Investors in People’s first ever video content strategy and the creation of a new brand film and series of client case studies. 

Investors in People is owned and managed by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. It is launching a campaign to publicise its recently re-vamped accreditation framework (the sixth generation of the world-recognised management standard). The campaign, entitled ‘Outperformance’ is about helping organisations to exceed their personal best and outperform their competitors through effective people management and alignment with business objectives. 

Somersault is currently working with Investors in People to create a series of videos featuring cycling legend Sir Dave Brailsford, which will feature online and at a series of live events in the coming months.

Somersault recently expanded its team, adding Toufique Ali as a producer/editor and Rosemary Scott as marketing manager.

Toufique Ali is an experienced producer director and editor of brand and corporate videos and a content strategist. He was recently part of the success of a YouTube channel, which gained 19 million views and over 316,000 subscribers within six months. He is documentary maker and music and reality entertainment producer, having worked for the likes of the BBC, Endemol UK and MTV.
Rosemary Scott is a B2B marketing communications specialist, having previously worked in New Zealand, Australia, Germany and the UK for a number of corporates in the IT, energy and pharmaceutical sectors.  

Colin Miles added: “The addition of Toufique and Rosemary to the Somersault team, with their combined experience, will make an immediate contribution and impact on our work with clients and will support our continued business growth.”
