Phoenix agency rises from ashes of WAR

Brand innovation agency, Wonderstruck, has been born out of the ashes of Ware Anthony Rust which went out of business just before Christmas after 30 years.

WAR’s demise took out sister business Bryt whose founder Eddie Stableford has bounced back with the new enterprise.

Stableford says all Bryt’s clients have stayed faithful to the new agency, which has rebranded as Wonderstruck and moved into Milton Hall led by Stableford (innovation director) and co-founders Mike Nash (creative director) and Emma Hall (client services director). Stableford founded Bryt in 1999.

The team has worked across multiple sectors spanning entrepreneurial startups and emerging brands to multiple-retailers and international brands with expertise extending into b2b as well as b2c. They boast a food and drink brand specialism, advising clients on all aspects of their brands from product development and testing through to brand, pack and website design to launch and in store marketing.

The firm’s capabilities in this sector were recognised last November when they were awarded Best Packaging Design in The Drum Dream Awards for HeyLikeWow, a drink brand that has just launched into over 800 Tesco stores nationwide.

Other brands the team have worked with include Corkers Crisps, Powters Sausages, Wicked Cakes, Buffaload and Move With Us. National brands include Muffin Break (Jamaica Blue), Tesco, M&S, Waitrose, Co-op, Premier Foods and Associated British Foods.

The team has also worked with celebrity chefs Ken Hom and Atul Kochhar of the 2 Michelin Star Benares Restaurant in Mayfair.

In addition to its UK portfolio, the agency has also created brands for companies in America, China, France, Norway, Germany, Spain, Ukraine and UAE.
